Due to the residue left over from the manufacturing process, dirt and oils from normal use, and microscopic imperfections on the lens, your dive mask will fog up regardless of toothpaste, or shampoo (normal-defog ways) unless these are all cleaned off or you have to buy expensive anti-fog gel.
At OnBird Phu Quoc we apply anti-fog treatment to all masks on our scuba diving & snorkeling thereby on OnBird’s Discovery Soft-adventure Snorkeling Experiences no foggy problems happen to our guests, we understand that foggy will certainly ruin your snorkeling & diving experience thereby basing on ourself experience in the industry we provide all professional masks at our shop with an application of anti-fog treatment including children masks. Pre-treated with anti-fog technology, these masks need to apply anti-fog gel before jumping in the water but a post-treated mask will just need a bit of toothpaste to de-fog the mask during your dive or snorkeling, keep the lens clear for at least a few hours.
